So many tvs and monitors are falsely advertised as 120hz and 240hz yet they only natively support 60hz and upscale in the monitor itself! Where can I get a native via HDMI 120hz or 240 hz monitor?
Answer
Broadcast HD video is at 60 Hz. Most TVs have that as the native synch rate. But some TVs with 3D alternate frame tech do 120 or 240 Hz from the Blu-Ray player. My Samsung series 8000 is like that. Not sure how to access that higher frame rate, since my computer's HDMI output to the TV is stuck at 60Hz. I suppose a higher end card might have a 120 or 240 Hz rate driver choice.

Answer
Series 6 - No it is not.
From the Samsung press release,
3D technology will be available in the LED 9000, 8000, and 7000 series models, as well as the plasma 7000 and 8000 series televisions and a Blu-ray player.
The release came out just a matter of days ago. The Samsung 3D HDTVs literally just came out (though were announced at CES in January).
I wouldn't be to worried about it. There is a lack of 3D content currently available. Glasses cost a fortune. 3D technology will likely get overhauled within 5 years. A bunch of manufacturers are working hard to develop glassless 3D. Many are skeptical, but many are working hard to make it work. So you could see a revolutionized 3D sooner, rather than later. So I wouldn't get hung up on not having 3D for the next while.
