blu ray player that streams netflix and amazon image
MARIANA P
I have no clue about blu-ray players, we are about to buy our first one. I read stuff online that sound Chinese to me. This is what I got so far: you can play blu-ray and normal dvds in it. Thats all I understand. What else can I do with my blu-ray player? I read something about storing data. THANKS! I know, I sound very dummy.
Answer
If you want to store data on a Blu-ray disc, you need a Blu-ray burner. As far as what kind of data you can burn to a Blu-ray disc, you can burn anything to the disc. As far as what you can do with a Blu-ray player other than watch Blu-ray and DVD and listen to CD's, that depends on the Blu-ray disc player you get. Some of them connect to the internet and play streaming movies from Netflix and Amazon. Again it depends on the model of your Blu-ray disc player but the main thing you do with it is to watch movies.

What do i need to make connect my Blu-ray player with out cable?
Blessed Ar
My Blu-ray play has a built in Ethernet port and it comes with Netcast and Netflix unlimited streaming but the thing is my Router is in another room and i have no telephone line in my lounge.
So i need something to bridge the connection since i do not want to run an Ethernet cable all through my house in order to connect it.
What is something i can find at wal-mart that i can get?
Answer
If your router is wireless then you can simply add a bridge which will convert the ethernet port of the bluray player from hardwired to wireless so it can communicate wirelessly to the router.
Something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Linksys-WET54G-Wireless-G-Ethernet-Bridge/dp/B00008WMBT/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1248622375&sr=8-3
I don't think Walmart carries this kind of stuff, but if you don't want to order it online I know BestBuy does.
