Is there a region free Blue-ray DVD player on the market yet?

I'm looking for a Blu-ray player that also plays regular DVDsand can play not only region-free discs but also region encoded DVDs. Is such a wonderful thing on the market already? At an affordable price?

I don't believe so but if you are playing Blu-ray through a computer. You can use AnyDVD 6.4 software to remove region and copy right protection not only that but you can back up your Blu-ray. I hope this help.

NO. you can not change the unit to make it a universal player. There are only handful of manufacturer that makes a universal player. Pioneer Elite and OPPO are the two company that makes universal player that are very good in quality and reliability. Hope this will help you out.
