If there is a difference in 3d quality then which brand is goods as blu ray player?
PS I have a 3d tv

Answer
The PS3 does suffer with some audio when playing 3D blu-rays. As a result, you'll be stuck with 5.1 Lossy Audio rather than HD Audio. This is the only real drawback.

However, the video quality won't be an issue. The PS3 has firmware upgrades meaning it will be updated any time new blu-ray features are released (which could result in a standalone player being useless for future improvements to blu-ray).

You'll also get more out of your television as you'll be able to rent or buy 3D movies from Sony's Playstation Store and Walmart's VUDU service (if you're in North America) which includes streaming (watch as they download, but best quality will require fast internet).

You've also got 3D Gaming, as you'll be able to play PS3 games in 3D as well as watch movies.

How do i fix the audio sync issue on my blu ray player?

I have a sony BDP S480. Its a 3D Blu ray player and it is quite badly out of sync. I have tried the A/V sync option and that just makes it worse. If it makes a difference the tv is a Samsung UE40D6530 LCD/LED HD 1080p 3D TV.

Answer
Many home theaters have the ability to inject various delays in the audio stream to deal with this very issue. Don't know how the TV deals with it. This is something you can't auto fix.
