Is there such thing as a FREE Blu-Ray Player software?

Carmen

I bought an external Blu-Ray Player for my laptop and there is a driver for it, but it does not come with a player. I downloaded a few Blu-Ray Player softwares and they were all trials. I would like to find one that is completely free.

If you know of one, that would be awesome and greatly appreciative.
Thank you so much.

Answer
You can use Media Player Classic - Home Cinema to play Blu-Ray discs. It's open source & free.

FYI It also plays DVDs & numerous video & audio formats. You wont need another media player.

Anyone know of free NON-TRIAL versions Blu-ray ripping programs?

I'm starting to think there is no such thing as free blu-ray ripping programs for computers?
I guess because Blu-ray is still pretty new and company's can still make a ton of money off them...
But is there any out there?

One i downloaded was called AVGO but it doesn't seem to work?

Answer
You can try DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper. It can rip Blu-ray title to various video files playable on next generation consoles like PS3 and Xbox 360, HD player like WD TV Live, or mobile devices like iPod, iPhone, iPad (iPad 2), etc.
