I got this TV http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_10104_012W804958930001P?keyword=012w804958930001&sLevel=0&aff=Y&sid=KAx20061023x272xTier3 and hooked up a Blu-ray disc player via a HDMI cable. When i press input to view the HDMI input, or any input for that matter it displays the Input name in the upper right corner with "480p SD" under it. None of the inputs display as 720p even on HDMIï¼

Answer
You need to go into the blu ray's set up menu, and be sure the output is set to 720p. As for your other items, are they HD or SD things. If they are HD things, again, be sure that their outputs are set to 720p in each of their set up menus.

Maybe its just my area but no one is buying PS3....?

they're in stock in stores (Wii is not) and no one seems to want it. Its pricey, graphics aren't that much better than 360, and no one has blu-ray discs to play on its blu-ray player

Answer
Yeah, all of our local stores walmart, kmart, target, best buy all have these in stock now. I think the main reason they arent moving as well as they were at first is b/c they are really pricey! Plus, they are new, and they still have bugs that need to be worked out of them! The true gamer will always be the first in line for these high tech systems and make the craze, but for the rest of us, I'm sure we have other things to "waste" our money on other than a new gaming system!
