Help with Philips surround sound blu ray player ?

Does any body know a lot about surround sound blu ray players and TVs...trying to find the best settings to get threw most out of my stuff. And what does it mean on the speaker settings when it says dimension and angle

The best settings are the ones that sound right to you, every set up is different, every room is different, so the sound is every situation will change even moving the speakers just 3 or 4 inches can change the sound quality tremendously...dimension usually has to do with sound stage the depth of the presentation front to back, it can also be a setting that is used when there are only 3 speakers involved creating the illusion that there are back channels...Angle probably refers to a visual effect in a DVD movie, read your manual, if you do not have a manual download one from the Internet....
