Can't for the life of me figure out how to burn a dvd that will play on my DVD player with Linux. Tried the program DeVeDe but nothing ends up burning to the disc actually. Help!
I am on Zenwalk Linux, not a Mac and not Windows. Programs that are specifically Windows programs generally do not work. The program needs to be Linux based program.

We're considering purchasing a Video game system... but we know next to nothing about them. Is there a system more reliable than others? Is there a system that supports more game choices?

The Xbox 360 has what many know as the Red Ring Of Death, which is when overheating causes to system to short circut. this occurs very often and is why many people dont purchase the system. Now a good system to invest your money on would be the ps3, because it is still fairly new to the market, It also comes with a built in blue-ray player which is what is supposed to be replacing DVD players in the future. So you could see yourself still using your ps3 in the future 10 years from now. The ps3 also has the capability to become into a computer if you install Linux on it, which is a free downloadable program. Thus if your home PC breaks then just simply turn on your ps3. The Xbox charges a $50 dollar fine to play online gaming. Ps3's gots free Online play, wifi, blu-ray, Ps3 Home, more hd space, 3 cell processors, better mmo's, better exclusives, bluetooth instead of infared, more format playback, dvd upscale, linux yellow dog compatible, motion sensor controllers, no red ring of death, higher pixel output, Also to mention "playstation 3 Life" is an online link to universitys which helps them create studies, which gives the ps3 the title to first ever create that, Also I mostly use my ps3 as a computer since i can install windows XP, on it and actually play PC games.
